The next frontier of technology is bringing intelligence into the world’s most complex and previously inaccessible environments. I’m particularly excited about systems that perceive, reason and act across oceans, space, land, the subsurface and critical infrastructure. The strongest companies will either build the enabling technologies behind this shift or combine proprietary data, hardware and deep domain expertise into full-stack solutions for critical industries. I love partnering with ambitious, deeply technical founders building what was previously impossible.

Regulation rewrites competitive dynamics in ways that most investors still underestimate. I believe the real winners in tech are increasingly hiding in industries that look slow from the outside, where switching feels operationally unthinkable - built on licences that take years to obtain, data that only compliant partners can access, and integrations so deep they become impossible to remove. European founders are uniquely positioned here, they grow up inside these regulatory frameworks, giving them a head start that capital alone cannot compress. A new industrial revolution is taking shape. Skilled labour is in structural decline, AI is moving into the physical world, and the West is rebuilding its industrial base. I’m keen to collaborate with founders building autonomous systems across manufacturing, logistics and industrial infrastructure, as well as AI-native companies that can challenge entrenched incumbents with fundamentally better cost structures and operating models. The opportunity is not simply to digitise industry, but to reimagine how goods, materials and work are planned, made, moved and maintained.

Europe’s security can no longer depend on legacy systems, fragmented procurement and external technological dependencies. I’m excited to work with founders building the next generation of defence technologies, from dual-use capabilities to mission-critical military equipment. The strongest companies will combine frontier technology with deep operational understanding to help Europe protect its democratic freedom, strengthen its sovereignty and deter future threats.
